Roller blind 

  During the 19th century, painted roller blinds were quite common. Sometimes you wanted to protect the furniture from direct sunlight and to make it look nicer from the outside, the picture was turned outwards.  

  I make traditional roller blinds in linen fabric, which I then decoratively paint according to the customer's wishes. Instead of a rollerblind it can also be hung on the wall.

 

  The pattern below is a copy of Winter Carl Hansson's kurbit painting from the 1770s.
